random conversations and etc..

it's yet another 'lovely' rainy-ish, dark, dreary day in june.. i never knew june was the raining month of hong kong till now~! each year i come back it would be in july or at x'mas so i guess i would never have known.

had a nice lunch with ray and cat again today! ray was finally not busy or had any lunch meetings for once so we had a nice chat (although it was at macdonald's...)~ he wasn't saying much about the stock market although lg718 told me to ask him xD.. probably because he was unsure and he didnt' want to say anything in case it has some effect i guess?

another funny conversation with cat...
on the way to pilates class day before yesterday, we were chatting randomly about stuff and drinks were brought up.. i'm pretty sure most ppl have heard of the 'b52', an alcoholic beverage that's served in a shot glass (ie. a type of shot/shooter etc).

cat: (blah blah) ...i like drinking the b26
me: .................. b... 26...?
cat: D:!! i mean b52! i have absolutely NO idea why but.. i keep referring to the b52 as 'b26'
me: .......................................... <-- speechless from laughter) why do you divide the '52' from b52 in half... and call it b26? and i thought i sucked when i keep calling it b56 by accident..
cat: D:!! i dunno..

up till now, i'm laughing at her about it becuase i've never heard of anyone doing that before xD oh did i mention she's an accountant? maybe something inside of her tells her numbers need to be divided...

later on.. we were talking about phones and work lines.. and she asked "why don't you 'fast forward' your cell phone to work line?"
me: 'fast forward'....

but i'm getting the hang of talking to her... i actually understand xD

random thoughts :3 maybe i'll keep adding to the list today...
