humidity and springtime

bleh it's very very hot these past couple of days... it's as if summer is already here but the most frightening part is that... it's NOT /cry... it's only may, the month that canada would be calling 'spring' and where the trees were blossoming and u could wear less clothes and a light jacket a nightime and it'd be fine... NOT IN HONG KONG. ; ; to my dismay, after the short but lovely cold/perfect winter in hk, i'm back to feeling the humid, stinky, stuffy, gross wet air of hong kong early summer again.. i've realized the reason i was born in january -___-;;
gosh.. D: how can i get past this coming summer without going crazy.. i miss toronto so much...

anyway.. ~_~

second day of the long weekend... just came back from going out all day and hanging out at lg718's house... last nite's family dinner was (as expected) fairly boring, but some interesting points to make was that i met a LOT of relatives that i've never met (or have met but when i was liek 2 or something) and that i expected were er.. not 'here' anymore xD;; anyhow, the most common saying of the evening they had to me was "oh my... i carried u around when u were young" and "u were just this tiny baby.." etc etc.. lol it was kind of amusing when i met a playmate of my bro and sis's (i've never seen her in the past 20 years) and she actually said "omg.. i fed u.. i even rubbed ur mom's stomach before u were born!!" which is pretty touching somehow ^_^

but back to today.. i watched the rest of narnia with lg718 and find that it wasnt' as bad as ppl said it was.. i'm not even sure why ppl are comparing a children's story to Lord of the Rings, but i think if u have too high expectations of movies, u're definitely going to be disappointed.. to me it was a nice 'live' version of what i expected one of my favorite books as a kid to be like.. very enjoyable~

also watched the rest of the 'awake' concert dvd of laruku's.. i love hyde... damn ~_~ i miss seeing his live singing.. true his singing is not as great as some other singers but i love him just the same.. he absolutely shines of charisma.. not sure how to explain it but he brings the whole audience's attention to him so easily...
must.. buy.. dvd.. versions.... of.. old.. laruku.. videos ... as expected, not many ppl have VCRs anymore -.-;

MI3 came out in hk faster than in toronto :O but i'll watch it on monday with dondon and lg718 because i'm definitely in NO rush to see tom cruise.. but as for da vinci code.. yes i'll definitely watch the night of xD
