first long weekend...

well the first long weekend is over... today i woke up really early and drank tea with my family then went home afterwards and started on.. chores xD;; as i was out all weekend and came home late, i never had a chance to do the simple things that i normally need to do... as the cleaning lady is away on vacation till next next sunday, i used the whole afternoon washing clothes (lol i finally figured out how to use the washing machine at my sis' house >< everything is so differnet from canadian washing machines, and also the detergent is different too -.-;;) and also vaccuming the living room and kitchen and my room. i didnt' bother doing my dad's room or my brother in law's room because i was pretty tired after doing the other areas xD;; but.. pretty proud of myself for spending the afternoon doing chores instead of lazing around watching anime, catching up on manga, opening my mini blythes (i still haven't done that lol..) or taking pics of kaya and mikael x3

yesterday i went with lg718 to the japanese salon we tried out last time and he got his hair cut (for our HKID photos xD the new one)... as i was waiting around for around 2 hrs (he was cutting and dying his hair.. considering how long it usually takes and also time for the massage during and after his hair was done.. that was quick xD) i managed to read several japanese magazines during the waittime.. lol it's like i used two hours instead of spending a few hundred dollars...
anyway one article in the latest copy of non-no fashion magazine was featuring Miffy! it was introducing the miffy museum in holland and about how miffy is really popular and famous in that area... Dick Bruna, the creator, is actually already 79 this year.. imagine! there's a street in holland where they even have miffy streetlights!! hmm what i mean is, u know the crossing light that is red or green but either with a human, in hong kong, or a hand, in canada? it was a miffy shape that replaced that XD soooo cute~~~ and miffy stamps nd tons and tons of miffy merchandise.. i wanna go /cry ~~

that's it for my weekend so far :D relaxing at home is wonderful.. looking forward to the next long weekend coming up this week ^-^ so strange to have two long weekends in one week but not connected -___-;

so much coming up ^-^ can't wait~
